More than a quarter-million people have put their names to a petition demanding ABC bring back the highly-rated conservative sitcom Last Man Standing. The fan-created Change.org petition titled Save Tim Allens Show Last Man Standing has garnered more than 275,000 signatures in less than a weeks time.
Last Man Standing stands out in the sea of network television sitcoms. It is a show that appeals to a broad swath of Americans who find very few shows that extol the virtues with which they can identify; namely conservative values, petition creator Deputy Matt wrote.
Last Man Standing is one of the only shows on broadcast television, and the only sitcom, that is not constantly shoving liberal ideals down the throats of the viewers, the petition says. And sadly, that is likely the real reason the show has been cancelled.
The popular series was abruptly canceled on Wednesday after six seasons on the air. ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey defended the decision in a press call Tuesday, citing business and scheduling conflicts, and denied that politics influenced the cancellation.

Is that a zip code box right under the United States box? Everything is blank to start except that box already has a number in it.
Just replace that number with your zipcode.
Fox could buy the rights and air it in Shepard Smith’s time slot; 2 problems solved.
So what great programming will replace this show?
I have an idea — how about a show with two homosexual men, who hire a single mom to be a surrogate to gestate their baby?? And then let’s have the single mom have a precocious smart mouth daughter. And then let’s add a conservative grandma of the single mom to the cast, and then see how she comes around to admire her granddaughter for giving the homosexual men the baby they dreamed of. And hilarity will ensue..................
Your idea will never fly...where’s the trannie and snowflakes?
That’s a man baby!
Fox owns the show, IIRC. ABC broadcasted it. Given what’s going on with Fox now, I think we’ve seen the last of the show.
Most shows would give their right arm for 6 years and 130 episodes. I think it had a great run. The ONLY thing I believe ABC should do is allow them an episode to close out the show. That seems fair to me.
Never watched it, Tim Allen is not much better than most dumbass TV comedians, but I do very much admire his viewpoints and willingness to take the heat in Hollyweird for them. He’s also good at getting his point across, much like Mike Rowe.
