Postwar American conservatism not only failed (dismally) to preserve the nation, but by entangling the political entity known as the United States of America in overseas military demonstrations and through merging exclusively American economic structures with third world satrapies, the postwar American conservative movement has created an incredible situation in which we may fall to our enemies without a shot being fired.The Pre-War isolationists only have themselves to blame, in hindsight, they wound up looking silly, and Americans were in no mood to return to isolationism after the war.
