“I totally agree with this. Russia has to save face with the power players of the world. “

When someone has to save face in front of power players and their own people, it’s not wise to try to humiliate them in public. Something unexpected will happen soon. Maybe all the Syrian planes will be replaced with Red Star Russian air force. Maybe we get denied flights to the space station.

Public insult of someone who must save face is a bad idea. And all for a bunch of Syrian rebels.

It could. Many of us expect Russia and Iran (Iran named specifically along with Libya) to attack Israel per Ezekiel 38. The Gog and Magog War.

The fact that Russia and Iran are both operating in Syria - with tangential engagement by Israel is interesting to say the least.

Remember it is a “hook in the jaw” that draws in the power from the north. Moxcow is very nearly directly north of Jerusalem. It’s just slightly off directly north.

If someone needs to save face they are buffoons and incompetents, not worth the time of day.

Face saving is a crock and a sign of weakness and fragility and mental instability.

It should never be indulged.
