‘We will not hesitate to defend ourselves’: US military refuses to be cowed after Russia threatens to target every coalition plane or drone it finds west of the River Euphrates in Syria.
That’s real cool and macho to say we won’t be cowed. It’s a neocon way of saying we are willing to have a shooting war with the Russians to protect ISIS.
Say what you want, the ISIS guys and our jihadi rebels on the ground saw a SU-22 attacking someone, and then saw a Hornet shoot it down.
That’s really got to be a good feeling for them to see that. Will we paint an ISIS emblem on our planes?
