Vanity Fair has fact-checked the recent viral outrage over Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot supposedly being paid 46 times less than Man of Steel star Henry Cavill for their work on similar films.

....

(BREAK)

....

Despite Vanity Fair’s explanation, the exaggerated facts, which were pushed by Elle Magazine, have since gone viral, with Teen Vogue‘s Lauren Duca receiving over 10,000 retweets and 20,000 likes on an outraged Twitter post, which was also shared by Piers Morgan, who responded, “Now THIS is sexism.”

I bought the DVD three season package of the seventies TV show of Wonder Woman and am enjoying it very much.

I recall a study done 20-30 years ago which compared very fit men against very fit women. The conclusion was that roughly the top 10 percent of very fit women could out-perform the bottom 10 percent of very fit men.

"Did you know that Ms. Gadot was 5 months pregnant during the shooting of this movie?"

Did she have a bouncing baby boy?

46 times less? What kind of math are they doing to come up with that?

ya, give the idiot leftists a few days and soon they’ll be bemoaning the fact that an Israeli is making much more money on the big screen than any Pali ever has.

3 picture deal at $300,000 a film.
I think she got screwed. The 4th film will cost the studio about $20 million for her services.

I see your point, but I could say that I’d never want to fight General Patton even though as General I don’t believe he actually killed or fought personally the enemy. Further, St Joan returned to battle after taking an arrow between the neck and shoulder. Personally I’d like to stay on the good side of Joan of Arc. But, again, I get the point.

"46 times less" makes no sense.

"...now that's funny..."

Thanks. The media is not taking even 10 seconds to think about what they about to say before saying it.

At least in this fantasy, she is not a normal human being, so the strength and abilities can be properly fantasized...

Hey, if Gal Gadot needs another parttime job, she can always be a “mohel” (a qualified medical person, Jewish, who can perform the male circumcision).

The way she swings that sword, she qualifies. Now if the opponents were Moslem extremists, she could cut off their heads and still qualify as a “mohel”. Just another type of “head”, if you will.

I concur with you whole-heartedly on both points.

The feminazi propaganda is nearly as hard to swallow as the blatant innumeracy of the press and advertising agencies.

My main point (which I failed to elucidate) was that ‘fighters’ are a many - great leaders are rare. Some leaders earn their respect through skill in battle. Some leaders earn it through rhetoric. Those who earn it through strength of character, wisdom & integrity are very, very rare.

If a friend, they are to be followed.

If a foe, to be feared.

Joan of Arc obviously was not the “baddest dude in France”, but rather the greatest leader of her time. As a woman in that time, she was doubly deserving of the accolade.
