Automatic couponing. Just scan the bar code of a product you want and if there are coupons available, they will pop up to use at checkout. Even better, the cell phone would tell you there are coupons for that product but a different brand which you can also access via your cell phone for use at checkout.

Cool idea. I saved 10 bucks the other day by checking the store's website for pricing while I was standing in the store looking at the same item. They had to give me the lower price. Price matching follows the same rule, I bet.

This is almost current tech — just scan the sku barcode on an item with a barcode reader app and the app will take you to the internet and list all stores selling that item. I imagine coupons can be found that way too.
