Why would I pay to watch them on Hulu?

I'm finding less and less to watch on Netflix and Amazon. Love Longmire, and that's ending soon. Don't like most of the rest of their original stuff. Wish both Amazon and Netflix would offer more and better documentaries. Schlockumentaries, ex: serial killers, sex scandals, don't count. Would also watch lecture series. A Mary Beard lecture series on Roman history, I'd pay to watch that. Netflix and Amazon could offer lectures on all sorts of subjects.
