Why Netflix is better than Amazon is because you can WATCH everything you see on the screen. Amazon muddies the waters by mixing in Prime videos with pay per view videos and other crap. So you have to dig through a lot of crap. IF Amazon made an EXCLUSIVE PRIME video portal they would be doing much better.

I agree, I had Amazon Prime for a couple of years but stopped watching the videos because I was too sick of wading through so much crap trying to find what I wanted.

The past year I watched a lot more Netflix, although I’ve pretty much given up on them the past couple of months because their movie selection has gone so far downhill. I’m not much interested in trying the “original” Netflix series.

I may give up on all of the streaming services until someone comes up with something that is far more comprehensive in selections and user-friendly.

I noticed that with my AP. I went through my queue last evening and found several pay additions I did not add to my list. I also purged a bunch of prime offerings which I did not add, either.

AP is also bad about initially offering a TV series as Prime, but then switching it to pay-for within a few days. I hate such BAIT-AND-SWITCH tactics.

Agreed. It is very frustrating trying to figure out what one can watch for free.

You can select sections of the screen that are only the prime stuff on Amazon, but you have to avoid clicking on the recommendations on the bottom of the screen or it takes you out of that section. Comcast does the same in their “free movies” section. Once you figure it out it’s not hard to stick to the free stuff though.

The reality is Netflix just has better programming, especially original programing. I did like Goliath on Amazon though.
