This story brought joy in Venezuela yesterday and was reported by the MSM in the context of the fight between the opposition and the Cuban style Communists ruling as a dictatorship right now.

But there is another interesting angle. President Donald J. Trump met with the wife of Leopoldo Lopez at the White House back in February calling for his release from prison in a tweet following the meeting.

Lopez is said to have health issues which is the official explanation from the regime regarding his release to home imprisonment but it may be a sign of the heat the regime is feeling with the opposition planning its own referendum next Sunday July 16th.

The referendum is planned ahead of the Communist style election the regime has set up for July 30th.
