A Texas professor is making waves on social media after protesting the state's campus carry law by wearing protective combat gear to class.
San Antonio College geography instructor Charles K. Smith went to his class last week sporting a camouflaged bulletproof vest and helmet. He said he wore it because he doesn’t feel safe.
“It definitely makes me feel uneasy that there are more firearms on campus than there should be,” Smith told mySA.com. “[Dressing this way] was just a statement on how I felt.”

He’s just auditioning for a cushy job in his golden years at Beijing on the Colorado, UT-Austin. The Leftists there wailed like babies when campus carry came to the state schools last year, prophesying killing in every classroom. A year has come and gone and NOT ONE INCIDENT has happened with a gun-toting student….but a Muslim attacked and killed a student eating lunch at a food truck on campus…with a machete. Not a peep out of any faculty member about that atrocity.
The childishly cowardly idiot should never be teaching.
He think saying “No Guns” means no bad guys will use guns, contrary to Chicago and everywhere else “no guns” has been tried.
He should be wearing that gear if guns were banned; bad guys still shoot.

The whole point of a basic right is that it exists for each of us, regardless of whether anyone else likes it or not. So, despite the fact that I am incredibly annoyed at the bilge that regularly comes from your mouth, I at least respect your right to continue to utter that bilge. You, OTOH, have NO respect for my right to self defense, and defense of my liberties (or anyone else’s rights, for that matter).

Isn’t concealed carry legal off campus as well? Had he been wearing this outfit off campus?
