Conservative Koch Brothers Are Secret Investors in 'Wonder Woman' (Exclusive)

Steven Mnuchin brought in the right-wing power brokers, as well as Bill Gates, to help fund such Hollywood projects as 'Dunkirk' and Steven Spielberg's upcoming 'Ready Player One.'

Though they might be the most reviled figures among Hollywood's liberal crowd, the Koch brothers have been a silent investor in Warner Bros.' slate of movies for four years. Sources say Charles G. Koch and David H. Koch — who are worth a combined $96.2 billion and wield enormous power in political circles as major backers of right-wing politicians — took a significant stake valued at tens of millions of dollars in RatPac-Dune Entertainment. Now-Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin brought the brothers in as investors as part of a $450 million deal struck in 2013 — a move that was never disclosed because RatPac-Dune is a private company.

Are the Koch Brothers really conservative? They are opposed to unions, but they seem to agree with Democrats on every other issue.

The Koch brothers are libertarians. There are damn few libertarians in the democrat party. The Koch brothers have been financing Republicans and Libertarians for years and have helped get us to the point of at least nominal control of the state legislatures and governorships.

Not the movies but the chemical spills and pollution from their plants does, IMHO. That is what the EPA should be doing.

Weren’t the Koch brothers opposed to Trump? They call them conservatives, but I doubt they are.

Culture matters. Not understanding that is why conservatives have generally lost on policy while winning electorally.

Wonder Woman was bad, feminist propaganda meant to appeal to modern SJW’s. Dunkirk was good, factual history with zero PC propaganda inserted. Almost nothing out of Hollywood these days is as PC-free as Dunkirk.
