I’d love to see the Wheel of Time become a TV series. One of the most enjoyable stories I’ve ever read.

Problem is it would take an enormous commitment by actors, directors & producers plus a HUGE amount of $$$ to make it happen. It would take at least 5 years to complete the main story line.

That reminds me of another that would make for a fantastic TV mini-series;

"The Chronicles of Amber" by Roger Zelazny. All ten books.

So the first 2 seasons would be great, the next 7 would be boring, unmemorable and not worth watching, the 2 leading up to the climax would be amazing, and the finale would ensure that no high fantasy makes it to TV ever again.
