It's insignificant compared to the major issues facing our nation. I'm glad Trump pardoned Arpaio, but we've seen things like this used in the past to pander to the base and soften the fallout from making unpopular decisions on much more important issues. I'm glad Trump did this, but I'm not going to pretend it's a bigger deal than it really is when it comes to our nation.

With Bannon and Gorka leaving the administration and warning about the policies Trump ran being in danger it seems reasonable to be cautious about this being used to counter unpopular decisions.

The low hanging fruit must still be pickled. For instance why hasn’t the ridiculous Obama CAFE standards been scratched yet?

so the criteria for action by our president now has to be ‘it must be a big deal’?

Noone’s asking anyone to consider it as big a deal as say handling NK- but it was something that had to be done- not something that was done simply to please the base- This man was being unjustly railroaded by a vindictive out of control left- and President Trump put a stop to it be declaring in essence “Not on my watch you don’t railroad an innocent man’
