The article fails to mention that the innocent black "protester" (seen above) had a flame thrower and was literally trying to burn people alive.

Exactly right, but the cop also has the duty to prevent these things from happening and when they can’t apprehend the offender.

I’ve seen a news report where the mayor is blaming the city manager and the police chief. It’s long past time for the Justice Department to wade in and determined what happened, and where the failure to maintain order was.
What I find more troubling than the spray can “flamethrower” is the guy holding the giant marigold over his crotch. What’s going on with that?
