I eat a couple of grilled boneless pork loin chops a day usually (about a pound). Some days I eat a cheese omelet (3 eggs).

That said, I will start measuring my protein intake.

I think I need more nuts (thinking cashews).

I eat a lot of nuts, especially almonds and cashews. Fruit isn’t necessarily bad within limits of what you could reasonably assume was normally foraged by people, but processing it does take the “work” out of your body processing it.
