Look. Most rational conservatives wish the Republican Party were devoid of RINOs, people like McCain, Flake ,Snow, neocons and the rest. But if the Party becomes functionally divided and starts running candidates against each other and splitting the vote, the socialist Democrats will take power nationally and they know how to exercise it.

Those of us paying attention have known this for years.

It seems that most Republicans have a pretty dim view of most national Republican office holders, yet continue to reelect their own Republican squishes.

There either have to be a lot of Dims voting for the most leftward Republican candidate in open primary elections or Republican primary voters tend to be low information voters.

Lucky for us, the swamp is confined to DC. Unlike the socialists in Washington, Republicans at the state level actually deliver. Take for example gun laws being loosened all over the country, right-to-work laws spreading like wildfire, North Carolina’s bathroom law and Texas’ sanctuary city law. Could you even imagine ANY of those being passed at the federal level? If we’re not entirely free at the federal level, we can at least be thankful that we are at the state level.

Political parties ruined this nation. Washington warned of this. We are stupid people bent on self destruction.

When Donald Trump was elected the republican elites exclaimed, in a panicked voice, “Oh sh_t! Now the voters are actually going to expect us to do what we’ve been saying we’d do for years!” Since fulfilling their promises is out of the question, they’re left with only one option: destroy Trump. I hope it’s the republican party that gets destroyed.

#Rinos and d!ckless #neverTrumpers like Brent Bozell killed the Republican party long ago.

Utter silence from the GOP while O’muslim destroyed the country. They allowed and funded all of it. The GOP are unindicted co-conspirators to 6 years of wholesale treason and lawlessness.

Then when Trump entered the GOP race & his prospects look good, all of a sudden the repubicans found their ‘backbone’. They went to war against their own nominee.<—See Brent Bozell. They haven’t stopped.

To hell with them.

What we are seeing is not just the end of either political party. What we are witnessing are the effects of the use of primary, secondary and tertiary education as vehicles to transform society. Education is a target for anyone trying to alter the direction of any society, and it has been used successfully since WWII to push an agenda.

The generation having children during and after WWII were sold on the idea that their children needed to have a university education in order to be successful in the world and live better than their parents. There was some truth in that, particularly if their children went on to get degrees that documented marketable and useful skills. It’s gone much astray though, partially by design, and the results have been devastating in many ways.

I was going to give a fairly generic response to this but as I read through all the well thought out posts; I realized anything I said would sound minuscule and trite compared to what has already been said.

FRiends, you guys and gals rock!!

Sometimes our future is unclear, downright muddied in fact, but we do have a good future ahead of us if we choose to embrace it. I do and hope you are gonna go along for the ride too.

If you have chosen to; thank you!!

I replied on another thread with this: I called my Rep and both Senators, Republicans all, and told them it was about damn time this REPUBLICAN Congress got up and got behind our REPUBLICAN President. I also told them I would not lift a finger or donate a dime except to help primary opponents unless they got with the program.
I’m still getting lip service from all of them. They really don’t get it that the base is fed up and ready to bolt.

Well at least it’s better than the fast, blood-curdling horrendous violent death of the Democrat Party unfolding before our very eyes since the election.

I keep saying i am turning in my Republican card and registering independent. Did not do it right after the election, figuring one last chance, but GOPe wont work with the president the people elected so the party is dead to me... only reason i have not done it is because i want to write a letter to go with the card, so McCains office and the other rinos know its because of their actions i disapprove of and not our president.

Help fix the Republican Party. Do you know who is your Precinct Committeeman? Is he/she a "good guy?" If so, support him her. If not run against her/him at the next election. If a Freeper did this in every precinct in the country, we'd control the Party. Quit bitchin' and pitch in.
