I don’t see it that way since the Texas GOP backed away from a “bathroom bill” the other week after calling a special legislative session to pass one.
They caved to business elites including the NFL.
Here in Pennsylvania the GOP governor and legislature dropped a 28 cent a gallon gas tax increase on us back in 2014.
I went to Columbus, OH this summer leaving PA with 2.39 a gallon gas and by the time I got to a shopping center on the north side of Ohio’s capital city it was 1.99 a gallon.
My point is that they tried. Even if they didn’t succeed, they were at least willing to try. I wish I could say the same of Congress.
