Miss M, not all folks in assisted living/skilled nursing facilities are fortunate enough to have family that cares nearby. That said, there is this little thing called a telephone. If any family members used it to call the cops, the city and/or county to raise Hell, that info has not made it into the news.
Well, I’m thinking of my own mother who was in a nursing home...just the thought of her in waist high water makes me shake! But I lived about 20 minutes from her.
