We’ve stayed where we are for just that reason. From the reporting I’ve just seen, looks like it was a family raising Cain that got the rescue started.

TX does have a state run assisted living facility in Corpus Christi. Wonder if that was evacuated....

We made a decision to stay near my parents. Sometimes I regretted it but at least my conscience is clear. I worry about these women because they are elderly, sick and sitting in filthy cold water for God knows how long.
Incorrect. A family member of the owner that is in FLORIDA is the one that was trying to get them rescued. McIntosh.
