The Chinese are humans. Like us they ae proud of themselves. Like us the are ruled by corrupt politicians. It's a human trait. We are fortunate that we have a constitution to structure our society. We'll see how long that lasts.
China is roughly the same as the US. It has about the same land area, about the same middle class population, about the same wealthy class population, and about the same dollar value of exports. O, but there a couple of differences, as well. China also has a communist government, and a billion more peasants. That gives them some extra challenges.
