I used to have a humorous book that had the following passage:
Master, Speak to us of healing.
The Master replied thusly:
A wound can heal, and that is a miracle. A doctor can heal, too, and that is an even greater miracle.
Given the choice, and the odds, I’d rather have the wound than the doctor.
