She will be considered guilty regardless of the outcome. All it takes is a 16 year old boy to accuse her.

Most people tend to lose all semblance of rational thought when the words "underage" and "sex" are I the same sentence... and I believe that, in most cases, it is not the victim who reports the inappropriate relationships with a female teacher, it is someone else... after the kid bragged about it.

Side note, I just saw a loving Congratulations post on Facebook, fawning over a 104 year old man and his 92 year old wife, celebrating 75 years of wedded bliss. People were none too pleased when I suggested that he be put in jail. He was 29 and she was 17 when they married, meaning they were likely 28 and 16, or 27 and 15, when they started their inappropriate relationship. In any event, she was underage, and he was almost 30. By todays standards, that means jail time and a lifetime on a registry list.

(Yes, my response was facetious. My father was 22 when he met my mom at 15 years old. Instead of retiring after 24 years as a decorated police officer and detective with 3 successful children and now 6 grandchildren, today he would be on a lifetime registry, and would likely be the manager of a hardware store.)

My father was 22 and mother was 15 when they married. They had their first child two years later. They were married for 58 years before my father passed away. My mother has passed away too since. Lots of children and grandchildren really miss them. They were wonderful parents that I look forward to seeing again.
