Great reminder. BTW, I was disappointed by Animal Farm after reading the magnificent 1984. It’s like Orwell was still formulating his masterpiece when he wrote Animal Farm.

Agreed. Orwell had time to reflect on Animal Farm and improve on his presentation before publishing 1984. On the flip side, I think Animal Farm is more accessible to readers of limited intelligence. Considering how important it is to get that message through to democrats, I’ll happily celebrate the simple version too.
