I am posting this youtube link to "The website FreeRepublic.com earns a spot in Keith Olbermann's 'Worst Persons in the World' segment" from 2009 because I think it would be interesting to note what the media is NOT covering today about all the Trump hated on the internet posted since Trump's election in November. Look at how outraged they were in 2009 by some mostly planted comments (I was around in 2009 and I remember those plants, by newbie usernames), in an obvious attempt to discredit FR. But what I don't remember from 2017, anytime in 2017, is MSNBC or any of the leftist "media" taking the left to task for the avalanche of anti-Trump hate, including multiple calls for the murder of the President and his family. The media is NOT reporting any of that, so my purpose here is to remind them of their faux outrage in 2009.

To be on the bad side of Olbermann - rightly or wrongly - is a badge of honor, as Free Republic remains one of the few places that still honors the age of enlightenment, age of reason, age of constitutional rights and Liberties our nation is founded on, and particularly the sentiment that “I may not approve at all of what you say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it”.
While generally Conservative you can find a level of diverse sets of views on Free Republic which you don’t find on many other Internet blog sites.
