HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA) — Rapper Young Dolph was shot several times Tuesday next to the Loews Hotel in Hollywood, just steps away from the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a bustling tourist district.
The shooting occurred about 1:15 p.m. between a shoe store and the hotel on Highland Avenue, just north of Hollywood Boulevard.
Dolph, 32, whose real name is Adolph Thornton Jr., was in critical condition when rushed to a hospital. He is now in stable condition, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

It’s not the first time this year the rapper’s come under gunfire ... back in February his SUV was shot at over 100 times while he was in Charlotte, N.C. Blac Youngsta turned himself in for the shooting in May after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
His album is called bulletproof because he survived being shot at over 100 times thanks to bulletproof panels in his SUV
