This is why the NFL is losing on this. They think it’s about Trump. It’s about the flag. No one thinks “Gee, I’m glad they are disrespecting the flag to teach Trump a lesson” all we see is disrespecting the flag and by extension our country. They are paying a lot of money for some really bad advice.
It's not about either. It's about wealthy black athletes, as a group, accusing much less wealthy white fans, as a group, of racism - and proceeding to lecture those white fans on how they need to accept the BLM narrative as reality, or otherwise they are not worthy to be fans of the NFL.
And those fans have finally realized it, and are starting to say, "OK - bye."
