His brother Eric tells DailyMail.com his family have no idea what happened to make him shoot

The brother of the Las Vegas shooter said that he was a normal guy who must have 'snapped' before carrying out the worst mass shooting in American history.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Eric Paddock said that 'something happened' to make his brother Stephen kill at least 50 people and injure 200.
Eric said that there was 'absolutely no indication he could do something like this' and said that Stephen had no political or religious affiliation.
He said: 'He was just a guy. Something happened, he snapped or something'.
Speaking from his home in Orlando, Florida, Eric said: 'We know absolutely nothing, this is just, we are dumbfounded.

Why if you have 10 guns and 100’s of rounds of ammo why do you only shoot for 10 seconds or are reports wrong on the duration of the shooting? And why the closed circuit TV camera. When you hear the police breakdown the door shot yourself. No need to watch for the cops unless you need time to escape before they get there. Also again if the time line is right, it had to take the police longer than 40 seconds to get to the room on the 32nd floor. Plenty of time for some more casual shooting with your hundreds of rounds of ammo. So many questions.

Huh? A Texas identification card is issued when someone doesn’t have a drivers license or any other form of ID. The guy had a pilot’s license and had an Alaska hunting license so he didn’t need an ID card.

It's patently obvious that anyone who shoots hundreds of Country Music fans must harbor a passionate hatred for that genre of music.

My guess is a full auto something with drum magazines.
Shots sounded too rhythmic to me to have been a semi/bump arrangement.
Breaks in firing due to changing weapons and/or mags.

Long strings of continuous firing and stopping only to reload does not show skill. Skilled auto shooters usually stagger their shots in groups of 3 or so to control recoil and stay on target.
Easy to empty a 30-50 round mag in 10 seconds .. breaks between bursts likely to switch weapons/mags.
