Marilou or derivations are common Filipina names, and she does look Filipino. However, Indonesia has the world’s largest Muslim population so who knows? And many Fils and Indos females have similar coloring, height, weight and facial features. Not sure we can trust the “media” on this one.
I’d be interested in finding out if “Marilou” was her birth name, or if she changed her name in order to be able to fit in better in the West.
