Twins, Yankees open with a bang.
Dittos and no other game is even a close second! Go Bombers!
I can’t watch.
I know how it ends.
Twins fan?
My Mom took me to a Twins game on September 22, 1968. Last game of the season. We sat in the $3 bleachers at Met Stadium. In the rain.
Cesar Tovar played all 9 positions.
He struck out Reggie Jackson in the first inning.
Twins won 2-1.
The only way the Cubs get home field advantage is if the Twins go all the way.
Go Twins for now!
It sounds like a memory that has infiltrated your DNA. Baseball does that. My Dad and Mom fought a lot, but one year, they took me an my brother to see the Yankees play in New York (I’m from Buffalo), They were renovating Yankee Stadium that year, so they were playing in Shea. My folks didn’t fight for the whole trip. Best weekend of my young life.
Diamondbacks take it all this year.
What are you smokin',dude? Red Sox over LA in 5.
Yeah, we’ve been here too many times.
Man, that is CLOSE. We are talking hundredths of a second to complete the double play.
Tell that to Sabathia ...
I was at the first ever playoff game at the new stadium against the Yankees.
That didn’t go well.
What do you have against CC?
“What do you have against CC?”
He said he would never set foot in the Whitehouse while Trump was president (paraphrased).
7-4 now. Love Aaron Judge and the dugout interview.
CC Sabathia calls Colin Kaepernick ‘brave’ for taking a stance on social injustice. (Jason Miller/Getty Images)
I understand that he feels strongly about something and I commend him for taking a stand on something he feels so strongly about.
Sabathia admitted that taking a stance on a controversial social issue is always a hard spot for an athlete, calling Kaepernick brave for his protest. Sabathia pointed to Dwyane Wades participation in a series of panel discussions on gun violence hosted by ESPN last week as the latest example of an athlete trying to impact the social issues African-Americans are facing.
Obviously being an African-American, raising two African-American boys, its scary, Sabathia said. Its something thats going on and something we need to change.
Judge is class. And Christian.
Go Yankees.....GO!
All Rise!!! Here come ‘da Judge!
