Where is the Motel management in all this?
NOBODY is in and out of Motel for days on end , smuggling
in GUNS, AMMO, ETC. without being noticed!

YOU don’t just tell Housekeeping ....”Get Lost, I’ve got my own towels or whatever.” NO, a Hotel that size keeps records of every room they service , every day.
This whole investigation stinks, do they even have this guy on Hotel Video ? YOU don’t walk into a place like that with out being recorded.

Not true. I’ve traveled a lot and if you ask nicely housekeeping will leave you alone for at least a week.

he brought his wares up in 10 suitcases, likely on the hotel cart. He had a 1700sqft room that maids did come in; he also had a 3-400sqft room with adjoining interior door. With that much space, and that much furniture, he could hide an elephant.

If you hang a “do not disturb” sign on the door, its less work for them and they move along to the next room. There is zero unusual about this.
“Smuggling in guns, ammo, etc. without being noticed”. Hotels are filled with people moving bags up and down to rooms and out of rooms all day long. No one is paying attention. Why would they?
I suggest you get out of mom’s basement and go stay in an actual hotel sometime and see how they operate.
I have lived in a large city hotel in five day whacks for weeks and weeks on end.
If in put out do-not-disturb, it wasn’t disturbed. If I wanted to move rolling golf bags or suitcases in multiple numbers, it was unremarkable. If you have your correct key card to operate elevators etc. there is not the slightest problem. Changing from a room to a suite is a 30 second conversation at the desk.

I disagree. I have not stayed in that particular hotel, but I have spent extended periods in hotels (some of which were very nice and others- not). I was never bothered if I put a "do not disturb" placard on the door. And if I was staying for the weekend, I always put "do not disturb" placard on the door.
I would guess that since this is Vegas, that the last thing that room cleaning wants to see are drunk/drugged out people with prostitutes at 1100 AM in various positions in the room.

As long as you leave your “do not disturb” sign out, housekeeping won’t come in until your near checkout time.
And my coworkers and I each bring in at least 2 big bags with us. Nobody knows what we could possibly have in them.
I suppose it would be pretty easy to bring in a bunch of guns and ammo. If you’re up to no good, you probably don’t cart it all in at one time anyway.
