There is one certainty: We are one day close to the next big earthquake in California. Beyond that, it might be next week or several decades before the next earthquake that produces moderate to severe structural damage and loss of life.
If that fault slips, it won’t be “moderate to severe structural damage.”
It will be “total destruction, and an unimaginable loss of life.”
