LVMPD and FBI show hand-in-hand solidarity in active shooter investigation, bar independent journalist from attending
(INTELLIHUB) Sheriff Joseph Lombardo of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department appeared to be visibly shaken when told reporters Friday that he wasnt attempting to be subversive in previous statements he made surrounding details of the October 1 massacre at the Route 91 Music Festival where 58 people lost their lives.
In the no questions conference, which members of the independent media were not allowed to attend, the sheriff said that hes well aware of the timeline dispute released by MGM Management on Thursday which claims that Stephen Paddock fired his weapon into the crowd just seconds after Mandalay Bay security guard Jesus Campos was struck by a bullet in the 32nd-floor hallway outside the shooters end suite.

Regardless of the angle of the dangle, shooter needs to get the muzzle out of the vertical plane of the wall/window sill. In doing so, he is a target, he is not back in the room, and thus can be shot and hit.
Arguing will not change that, nor will angles and hypotenuses and other bullshit.
So, if the muzzle is 9 inches above the floor and 1 inch back from the window and pointed downwards at 15 degrees below horizontal the bullet wouldn’t go out the window? That one inch back from the window would be enough to disprove your contention. The actual distance back that the muzzle could be (with a 9 inch elevation above the carpet) is 36 inches. But don’t worry about it dude. I’m sure you have other skills beside math. And shooting.
The shells in the blood in this picture look too clean. Wouldnt that much blood pouring out of his head make them look bloodier?
It appears that the shells landed on top of the blood.
Well, the room was supposed to be carpeted, so it seems reasonable the blood could/should simply seep underneath.
But you're right, that's another oddity: the cleanliness of the brass — a lot of the shells look like unfired casings. (Too shiny, not enough discoloration, especially at the neck.) Though I will admit that could be an artifact of the picture quality in this case.
Thank you for your reply. I’m still not sure that’s not the lower frame of the gun, but disregarding that point; I can’t work out in my mind, the position of his body,(straight legs, straight arms at his side) and where the gun(s) are in proximity to his perfectly straight body. What position was he in when he shot himself, standing, ass on the floor, laying all the way down on the floor? You take anyone of those positions ,and then look how his body ended up, plus the position(s) of the gun(s) and I don’t see how he could end up that way, I bet you don’t either. Those shell casings in the blood, how did they get there? Shouldn’t there be blood on at least one of them, if they were kicked and rolled into the blood, or blood spatter from blowing out the back of his head, if they were already just laying there? His “suicide” just seems a little suspicious to me.
The location of the alleged suicide weapon is interesting to me.
Did he throw it up over his head after he shot himself
It's an interesting spot in that it doesn't really 'fit' with anything -- as you note, he'd have to throw it over his head [after the suicide shot] if it went directly to th floor, and as others have said the SWAT could have kicked it… except it's too close for an adrenaline-fueled kick.
