Mt AARP costs $16 bucks a month and provides a $345 dollar allowance for a hearing aid which interested me at the time.

I just never asked about my specialists (eye doctor and pulmonologist) ... just my PCP was in their system with a $10 co pay, but no one else.

I found out when after a routine eye exam (I have NEVER paid for, just the Dr co pay), I got hit with an almost 400 dollar bill.

THAT was the tipoff.

AARP isn't in it for you.

They sell sub marginal insurance plans and old cell phones and make their money on endorsement kickbacks.
