The former manager of the Twin Peaks restaurant where a shootout between rival biker gangs and law enforcement officers left nine dead and more than 20 injured was on the stand Friday in the trial of the first defendant in the shootout.

Christopher Jacob Carrizal, 35, is accused of directing activities of a street gang, engaging in organized criminal activity with the underlying offense of murder and engaging in organized criminal activity with the underlying offense of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the May 17, 2015 shootout between rival biker gangs at the Twin Peaks restaurant at the Central Texas Marketplace shopping center that left nine bikers dead and more than 20 others injured.

In defense attorney Casie Gotro's cross-examination of Twin Peaks manager Brad Doan:

Gotro's questioning at first focused on when and where he and his staff were interviewed by authorities.

Once Doan is dismissed, the prosecution calls Michael Lynch, 63, of Mart, to the stand, a member of the Los Pirados motorcycle club since 2009, one of the original 13 members.

"We're basically a mom and pop club, we're real family oriented," said Lynch.

"They wear the one-percent patch, i guess they don't agree with everything,"

Lynch said he's never been a one-percenter, but said the Bandidos have always been the dominant one-percenter club in Texas.

Says you recognize a support club by similar colors and patches, and his club is not a Bandidos support club.

Prosecutor Jarrett starts analyzing Lynch's vest.

The undercover agent with the Texas Department of Public Safety who installed a surveillance camera on a pole outside of the Twin Peaks restaurant at the Central Texas Marketplace the morning of the shooting returned to the stand Thursday and the jury was shown the footage, piece by piece.

Because DPS always installs cameras moments before shootings. Betcha Red Boots and the other undercoverss are conveniently outside the camera view when the fight breaks out.

The prosecution’s witness said he was one of four agents who had planned on going inside the restaurant in plain clothes to do surveillance, help Waco police in case something did happen, and gather intelligence about the biker world, which he said he didn’t know much about at the time

Four undercovers for "help" just in case and I have a bridge for sale. And we're supposed to believe they sent in a guy who di'int know nuffin.

they were supposed to meet at the Flying J truck stop on Interstate 35, but there were too many bikers there

Yeah, out of all the places in Waco to meet, they just happened to pick the one place where there would be lots of bikers... to arrest for nothing but for wearing colors.

the group of four who were supposed to go inside the restaurant, pulled out for safety reasons.

Right after egging the fight to begin.

Were you approached by law enforcement before the meeting?
