There's some protesting going on, without a doubt, but it's fans protesting the product being put on the football field, I believe, moreso than any pronounced reaction to a handful of players displaying their Constitutional rights before kick-off. Those who keep defending the players for exercising their Constitutional right never mention that the fans are also exercising their Constitutional right by telling the players to f#$% off.

Those who keep defending the players for exercising their Constitutional right There is no Constitutional issue involved here because it is being done in a private setting. The First Amendment right of free speech restricts only government action.
