This afternoon Bolling himself chimed in to say there’s no connection between the reports about him and his son’s untimely death.
I believe it is beyond inappropriate for anyone to bring in the tragic death of my son Eric Chase Bolling. Just as Bill O’Reilly had wanted to shield his children from the allegations against him, I hope he will honor my request and avoid any future mentions of my son. My parting from Fox News was in no way connected to the tragic news of my son’s passing. The coroner has in fact indicated to us that they believe it was an accident. Unlike others who left Fox News amid public allegations and extensive investigations, I parted ways with Fox News in an amicable way and any reference to a firing is flatly wrong. I have been working on new collaborations which I will be announcing in the next few months.

I never liked him, back when I was routinely watching FOX. He was too full of himself, and didn’t give his guests time to speak, always interrupting them to expound in his “superior” way.

He had a grand exposé on FR where he cropped posts, blurred text, and tried misrepresenting the discussions he “saw”.
And when caught, he acted like he didn’t do anything.

$32 million is a LOT to pay to a woman whom you never sexually assaulted.
And how dare he point out what happened to Bolling’s son, as if to say that breaking the scandal about Bill in the media might kill the O’Reilly offspring? How dare he?
Look, let’s imagine that Bolling’s son did what he did as a result of his father’s scandal. Which I don’t know. Guess what? It isn’t the exposure of the scandal that shames your kids, BOR. it’s that their father would do such a thing. If fathers didn’t assault and harass women, their children would not be put through such shame.
And if you didn’t pony up WHAT? $32 million?? To settle an abuse and assault case, believe me, the NYT wouldn’t have run a story. Keep your hands to yourself.
I don’t know. I hate to take on fellow freepers, but, I watched BOR for years. Didn’t agree with everything, but ya know, he always seemed to be on the reasonable side.
I’ll give him props for what he did around 9/11, and not letting a couple of well known charities get away with skimming millions of dollars from good hearted Americans. But then it went to his big potato head, and it became all about him. And, he did slime Freerepublic, I don’t like that sh@t.
