Video at link. Full title: Hurricane force winds coming to Upper NE/New Brunswick- 90 to 100 mph gusts!

He uses Ventusky.com and it shows/projects high winds upper northeast area and calls out specific areas. Hurricane force winds projected for early hours (2 am) of Monday, October 30 but I note that he also specifies Monday 10 am wind gusts up to 100 miles per hour in New Brunswick area.

Winds projected to be 90 miles per hour in some areas (New Hampshire) and strong winds, gusts in some surrounding areas (Maine?).

TOPICS: Miscellaneous
KEYWORDS: gusts; philippe; phillippe; wind
In the comments for the video, a viewer notes that the trees still have leaves, heavy rains tomorrow preceding high winds on Monday = trees falling down.

Tress have leaves all season long and less now than most of Hurricane season
May be refering to some activity on the West side where some snow may be possible. That on leaves brings trees down

We haven’t had a good freeze up here in NH. There are still quite a few leaves still on the trees. A good wind will bring them down.

That’s not good news for those who depend on the tourist season.

The Fall foliage season is pretty much over here in Maine.

It wasn’t all that good to begin with because of drought conditions, which ended with 5 - 7 inches of rain last week.

Some, but not all, of the hardwood trees are already bare.

Depends on how saturated the ground already is. We had a pretty wet season before Nate hit and there weren't a lot of downed trees for 100+ MPH winds. Nate did knock a lot of dead wood out of the trees and hasten the defoliation of those that shed their leaves in the Fall....
