It will be fine in glass. However, be cautious of those jars with metal lids - the metal will rust, even behind the plastic seal on the inside of the lid.

Thanks I was wondering that...then maybe the kind with glass lids, although they have rubber seals.

I mix up a pint of Clorox and water (1 to 25 ratio) and use a sandwich bag inside the metal jar lid. No rusting of the lid so far, after four years using the same jar. (The mixture is mouthwash and cleanser when a taste bud gets sore. Tatse nu cures up over night.)
