It is so over-the-top and idiotic that it my backfire. That advert will probably produce more laughs than anything.
It would backfire if they’re actually running it throughout the state, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s contained to northern Virginia, and all a low budget. If this was an official Ralph Northam campaign commercial, he’d be toast.
