When Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp accused Kevin Spacey of sexually abusing him -- or trying to do so -- when he was only 14 years old, Spacey immediately came out with a statement saying that, although he didn't remember any of it, he was sorry if something inappropriate did happen. Famously, he used this "opportunity" to come out as gay.
As Stephen Kruiser explained immediately after Spacey came out of the closet, however, the issue wasn't his sexuality (it was rumored for years that Spacey was either homosexual or bisexual, which didn't seem to interest most people) but that "he propositioned a minor." Worse, according to Rapp, Spacey actually tried to force himself on him.
If Spacey thought the scandal would go away by coming out of the closet, he was sadly mistaken. In the days since, several more men have accused him of sexually inappropriate behavior, including Mexican actor Roberto Cavazos and American documentary filmmaker Tony Montana.
As a result, Spacey's representative has announced that the Hollywood star "is taking the time necessary to seek evaluation and treatment." In other words, he's opting for the Weinstein strategy: admit you made "mistakes," instantly seek help, and pray that the world will forgive you and move on.

He’ll be fixed by Tuesday. Move along.
Seems that seeking treatment and evaluation is always the very first ticket out of town, out of trouble, and back in baby’s arms.
So that’s how he thinks he can buy his way out of this scandal? I hope he never works another day in front of a camera.
I must say I’m surprised, that his excuse of being “gay” didn’t make any difference.
Maybe Hollywood does have some minimal standards; that while they honor homosexuality, the gay status is not going to be an excuse for this behavior?
Riiiiight.....in Palm Springs.
I figured he’d take the out his PR flak had created for him and claim he’d also been hiding severe alcoholism to the point of blackout for decades, then go into rehab in a non-extradition country.
Why do these jerks always seek treatment instead of just getting it?
He’s been a big star for a long time. There must be A LOT more dirt out there on him. Since it’s homo that might “save” him.
Predict he will be cured in a week. /s
Hes a day late and a dollar short.
He’s a pedo, did Meryl Streep give him a standing ovation yet?
I’ve got a better way he can “evaluate” himself - harakiri.
The Anthony Rapp incident happened 32 years ago... why seek treatment now? Unless, there’s more.... perhaps his behavior is still posing a “problem” to him these days?
I thought gay conversion therapy was illegal in California.
Spacey is now in the role of his life trying to play the part of the victim.
What did Netflix know and when did it know it.. ?
In Thailand..?
In the Phillipines..?
Incredible as it may sound, I think Trump has actually changed the mentality of Hollywood. Don’t forget: They use to give standing ovations and awards to pedos, sex abusers like Polanski, Michael jackson and Bubba Clinton and they damn well knew what Harvey Weinstein was doing. I just hope next they wake up enough to start going after Hitlery, knock her off that effin pedestal they constantly put her on.
