I have a desktop and a laptop that were Windows 7 but are now windows 10 based on those keys.
You might try downloading the windows 10 installation media from a windows 10 machine, then use it on the computer you want to upgrade with the windows 7 license.

This is a temporary arbitrage. A large gap between what a windows 10 pro DVD will cost you at Amazon $149...maybe less elsewhere or ebay. But you go straight to the MS Win 10 download site w your 8-16gb flash drive. Microsoft installs a bootable Win 10 on this flash drive. +++++ You Buy a legit win 10 KEY at ebay UK for $3 And you will have a good clean windows 10 to install. I have done this once plus have bought three more windows 10 KEYS for the future at about $3 each at ebay UK.
bump for later
I’m lookin for windows 7- my version is oem, and i can’t download the windows 7 ISO from MS site because of that- I thought that if i had a valid non oem key i would be able to download the ISO
Thanks, I’ll give it a try- it’s only about $5 or so- no big deal if i get stung- but looks like folks are getting good valid keys- I only use windows 10 in a vm- no online stuff with it except initial setup- but would be nice to have it registered (Currently using it unregistered- still working from the trial- just can’t personalize some stuff)
They used to not require a product key.
You can extract the key from an existing install.
I have used this key finder many times.

Do you have any other computers or any family members or acquaintances with your version of Windows 7?
Just extract the key from that computer and use it for the download. Once you have the ISO you can use it to install with your key.
i have my windows key (it’s o nthe side of the computer)- unfortunately we don’t have other computers except an old windows 9 SE computer lol and even that was preinstalled- so that key wouldn’t work either- but really- if keys are only $20 or so- legit ones from ebay- that is a pretty good price (Not sure if ebay would take a visa gift card or not?) I’
ve certainly ripped through $20 in very short times in the past and had nothing to show for it- so if it doesn’t work, at least I’ll know then.
We bought all our computers with windows preinstalled unfortunately (When we started out we knew nothing of computers) I don’[t know why they won’t allow download of ISO for preinstalled- especially if a person is upgrading- Silly that I’d have to buy another key when i already have one for preinstalled os-
After looking at the screen shot I see that I only have Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Do you want it?
Cheape cheap cheap at EBAY UK....where I got my Win 10 Keys
