Amusing thing is Win10 validated my Win7 number without my desktop being on the internet. The Ethernet cable was unplugged. Win 10 contains these win 7 and 8 codes internally somehow or is semi-faking validation.

Just installed windows 10 on a laptop. So easy and inexpensive. You can buy a Win 10 pro key on ebay for about $4. So I have my win 10 usb flash drive made the way Thurrott says to. Just put in the ebay Win 10 key that I bought and worked like a charm.
Bottom line is Windows 10 is selling for $4 if you make your own Win 10 bootable flash drive. Which Microsoft actually makes for you.
