Bingo. Look at Hugh Hefner, who could be called Mr. Depravity. He was supposed to be the epitome of suave masculinity, yet he admitted he had tried everything sexual “except farm animals”. When you exclude morality from sexual activity, as Hefner did and was proud to encourage society to do, you end up trying everything and, eventually, getting bored with everything. Add mind-altering drugs to the mix and...well, why would anybody doubt that Charlie Sheen has had sex with boys and men? I’d be more likely to believe he had not tried intravenous drugs than that he’d not tried sex with males. (Again: Sheen is still alive, and it takes longer to die from sex with men than it can to die from sex with needles.)

I’m guessing that Charlie hit the casting couch to win parts and was changed by the experience, as most men would be if they tried homosexuality.
Never done it and would never try it, but I think there might be something that changes in men to be more open to it once they do try it.
