Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Alabama Sen. Richard Shelby, and a handful of other Republican senators called on Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore to withdraw from the race if a report that he initiated a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl in 1979 is true.

Shelby, who backed Luther Strange in the primary but did not go on to endorse Moore in the general election, agreed.

"If these allegations are true, there is no place for Roy Moore in the United States Senate," he said in a statement.

Arizona Sen. John McCain tweeted that the allegations were "deeply troubling and disqualifying."

Arizona Sen. Jeff Flake shared that sentiment in a tweet.

Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, said she was "horrified" by the allegations and also called for Moore to withdraw if the reports are accurate.

Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado says, "The allegations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore are deeply troubling."

As I have read, probably on FR, Mitch McConnell was discharged from the service because he allegedly fondled a young recruit in the shower. So, let’s make that go viral.

Gardner was the last straw for me. I changed my registration to independent back in December 2015, after being a registered republican for almost 40 years. He ran on controlling spending and illegal immigration, then voted for boner and obumbers 2 year spending plan in the house before going to the senate. Trump is the only republican I have supported since.

It was bound to happen. How many Dems or supporters have been named in the past 3 weeks. The Dems were not going to enjoy all the fun by themselves. They had to drag a Republican in it. That being said, it is more than the Dems, the swamp came up with it.

I’ve been saying for some time we should allow the democrats destroy the Republican party. In a few years people will be sick of the Dems then a new Republican party could be elected. If course, now it’s too late. The Dems and rinos will impeach Trump.

McConnell must resign.

Or he must be removed.

The eGOP, like the left has learned that they can destroy anyone with an accusation. And in this case, it’s the eGOP that has more to lose if Moore wins in ‘18.

McConnell, Murkowski, McCain, Flake, and Gardner should be the first to be hanged when Civil War begins.

First get rid of the duplicitous sellout traitors, then deal with the lying, murdering Democrat criminal enterprise.

Patriots will NOT stand by and allow this coup.

As someone on FR once corrected me when I said that Gardner was another betraying POS, the real objective was to get rid of Udall.

That was part of it but also to replace him with a conservative. Gardner was another one of these ‘tell them what they want to hear’ politicians. The minute he got in he started to ‘grow’ in office.

We’re on to their crap. I will never vote for anyone ever again just because he’s a Republican and therefore better than a demonrat.

The Turtle (allegedly) sexually fondled a young boy??? Can you imagine that poor boy’s horror of it all? Poor fella...that’s just utterly terrible!!!
McConnell needs to resign now!!! He’s not fit to lead. He’s practically a child molester!!!! No wonder the UniParty loves him so much.

I find no fault in the thought process that one should step down if guilty of such things. The thing is they don’t need to say ANYTHING. He has already denied the accusations. They need to just shut up if they can’t at least be supportive of a fellow Republican.
