My buddy from college loves Whiskey Meyers. He is the only black guy I know who loves country. It is all he listens to and he credits me for turning him onto it in college.

I will add one more to your list that I have come across lately that is some real country goodness. That would be Sturgill Simpson. A few naughty words in his tunes but they are real country.

Ha yea I've got a couple black friends that listen to country. Course, one of them is a complete Oreo - 100% white on the inside! And going to some of the country concerts around here I've seen several black people, but not nearly as many as there should be!

And yup, I know Sturgill. He's got some good stuff, just got overlooked in my frenzy of artist-searching :p
