My pleasure. I’ve read and reread the series maybe 5 or 6 times and loved doing it. She puts in a fair amount of current events that can be skimmed over if it gets to be too much, but very action oriented, as well as descriptive of the times and culture. Absolutely love them. And Cadfael is an absolutely compelling character.

If you get a chance, take a look at some of Henry's other poetry, as well. I study a lot of newspaper poetry of that time, and he's really one of the best out there.
