she is a piece of work....if you feel that somerone is not guilty you defend them if it turns out you are wrong you eat crow and admit you were wrong. you don’t back off because you are being criticized you back down when some one either presents information that convinces you that the friend is guilty or if on reflection of the evidence you just are not sure...
