"Linux Mint. Comes with Open Office."

I LUV Linux Mint, it does everything I need it to do AND it runs on a 5 year old Laptop that had bogged down from windows 7 built in "Planned Obsolescence"

I bought a Lint Mint laptop a year ago. It is okay. I do revert to Win7 when I need to do some graphics or productivity tasks.

The major problem I find with Linux Mint is that it seems to conflict with my cable (COX) streaming services. I can load Youtube, etc., but I cannot load services that require log-in with my provider (COX). Those include ESPN Go, FOXSportsGO, NBC sports, or even the COX Contour TV channel streams. Some web pages will partially load, but the stream will not start.

WINE is useless. I have yet to find any of my Windows programs that will run on it.

Setting up a virtual machine seems more hassle than it is worth, since I can load the streams on Win7 laptop and desktop and android tablet and be watching the event in less than 2 minutes.
