I think it is more male fitness than “looks” when women are looking for a partner. It all boils down two instinctive tings with nearly all women: they want to know if a man will burn up the sheets in bed and will he provide for them/kids. A good level of male fitness is required for a good romp and money is required to support.
I wonder if this study was confined to the Northeast (that's where the school is located)? If so, the results are unsurprising. If you are looking to marry one from this region, you have about an 85% chance of landing one of the "darlings" that they interviewed for this study.
