On the level of personal behavior, yes, Bill and Barack did what they want.
But, when it came to harnessing, directing, and riding raw political talent, I submit the women played a major role. Bill was too undisciplined to get all the way to the top without the ambitious and driving Hillary whipping him on and cleaning up behind him. I’m not as sure about Mooch, but she clearly enjoyed her ride to glory.
Certainly Obama did not get himself into the WH. Ayers jump started the process with the Dreams book, and Michelle’s political connections helped too. Ultimately, though, it was Soros and his money/machine that put Obama in power.
Hillary definitely did the clean up. In that sense she was the ultimate enabler, silencing Bill’s women one way or another.
If Hillary were more effective overall she wouldn’t have been such a disastrous candidate (twice).
Michelle comes off looking attractive to the Left bc all her venues are controlled and friendly. If she had to debate someone like Trump it would be a debacle.
